Strand Tempus Dimmer Rack - 6 x 10 AMP Channels (each channel has two 5 AMP sockets) This item has been sitting in the garage for over 4 years. I hooked it up yesterday (stood back and lit the blue touch paper) and surprisingly, it worked on all channels! HOWEVER...there was a 'chemical smell' and some flickering on at least one channel (channel 5 - I recall). I suspect that one or more of the ancient components was frying and therefore the unit would need a thorough overhaul and electrical safety test if were to be used as a functional item again . I would not personally think of plugging it in again without investigating the issue and I have no time for that. In view of the above, the item is emphatically - Sold for Spares or Repair only! The unit has all fuse holders (see picture above), etc. and would be excellent for spares. It is fitted with a 32 AMP plug. The controller you see plugged in IS NOT included in the sale.
